We all start our journey having the candid innocence of childhood. It is almost certain that there would be encounters with the 'grey' or 'black' in our path. Most of us resist for some time in the beginning but ultimately our defiance falls apart and we become part of what we never wanted to start with. It is so hard to keep on fighting against the mightiness of evil than to resign and choose the path of least resistance.......inspite of knowing this we fall for it again and again......
कोशिशें तमाम कर लीं, कम्बख़त जाता नहीं
आ पसरा है अँधेरा, मेहमान बनकर इन दिनों
कुछ था सुनता मेरी भी, दो बातें मानता भी था
अब अपनी चलाता है अँधेरा, फरमान बनकर इन दिनों
उखड़ रही है साँस, नब्ज़ भी टूटी टूटी है
मरने देता नहीं अँधेरा, एहसान बनकर इन दिनों
आदत सी पड़ गयी है इसकी, हबीब बन गया है ये
साथ रहता है अँधेरा, मेरी जान बनकर इन दिनों
